Children should not arrive at school before 8.am. Children should be at school by at least 8.40am. This allows them to hang up their bags and be in time to begin the school day.
8.45am First Bell – Prayer Assembly
10.35am Morning Tea
11.00 am Class commences
12.45pm Lunch
1.30 pm Afternoon class begins
2.45pm School dismissal
It is requested that children are punctual. Lateness disrupts class routines and children miss out on important learning time.
Unless otherwise notified, bell times will remain the same in the winter as in the summer.
The school does not have an after school care programme, however we have made arrangements with the Te Whare Kokonga. A number of our students use this service. Students are picked up from school and walked down to the centre at the end of the street. On wet days they are driven. They run from 3pm - 5:30pm.
