Children should not arrive at school before 8.am. Children should be at school by at least 8.40am. This allows them to hang up their bags and be in time to begin the school day.

1.30 pm Afternoon class begins
2.45pm School dismissal
It is requested that children are punctual. Lateness disrupts class routines and children miss out on important learning time.
Unless otherwise notified, bell times will remain the same in the winter as in the summer.
The school does not have an after school care programme, however we have made arrangements with the Te Whare Kokonga. The cost is $6.00 per/day or $30 per week. A number of our students use this service. Students are picked up from school and walked down to the centre at the end of the street. On wet days they are driven. They run from 3pm - 5:30pm. We have heard this afternoon that the country is gone to a Level 3 Alert.
From tomorrow 24 March schools are closed except for the children of ESSENTIAL workers. This will be temporary and schools will close entirely on Wednesday.
Junior students Years 1-3 (Totara - 1, Rimu -2 , Kahikatea - 3) : home learning packs will be available between 12:30 - 3:30 tomorrow, March 24.
Middle senior students Years 4-8 (Pohutukawa, Nikau, Kowhai and Matai) will provide on-line learning programmes. If you require a device to access this please come into the school between 12:30pm and 3:30pm tomorrow March 24th.
