Nau mai, haere mai and welcome to our website and school!
We all worry about our children. We all want the best for them. A great education will certainly involve a passionate commitment to excellence in the academics, of course, but that's just not enough. In this day and age we need to think a lot about the way we interact, in our values and attitudes, about the kind of school we want our children to grow up in. So the culture of a school, its environment, all needs to be right as well as the teaching and the learning and children's behaviour and parental support. Everything has to be right for your child to succeed. We all have to pull together.
This isn't a job for our staff, this is a passion. It's something we are deeply committed to and believe in. If you come to our school be ready to share that passion.
This is a Catholic School. This is a place where we are unashamedly Catholic in the things we do and in the way we behave towards each other. Our two thousand year old legacy of faith and history colours the way we think. We pray. We cry. We laugh. We make mistakes and we forgive each other. We reconcile and we start again. Don't come here if you want to be half hearted about your Catholic faith or if you don't like to work hard. But if you want to be a part of a fine little school that's going places then leap aboard and enjoy the ride!
